JM Eagle Showroom
Plastpro Showroom

Client/Company: Bridgewater Studio

Project Description: Bridgewater Studio created two separate and distinct corporate showrooms, totaling 5000 square feet, for JM Eagle and Plastpro at their joint headquarters in Los Angeles. Each tells the company’s story, showcases the breadth of its product line (PVC pipes and fiberglass doors), and gives insight into what sets the company apart from its competitors.

Julie’s Role: Exhibit Developer / Writer

Bridgewater brought me in at the beginning of the concept phase so that I could learn alongside the rest of the team. We kicked off with factory tours of both JM Eagle and Plastpro, where I asked loads of questions to better understand their respective products and processes.

The team and I brainstormed different display techniques and activities while I researched potential storylines. This was a fully collaborative and iterative process between the project manager, exhibit designer, graphic designer, and me. We met often to workshop and develop different concepts, providing our own unique perspectives.

As the content person, I kept the desired messaging at the forefront. With input from client representatives, I identified the products to be displayed. Then I determined key features to highlight and the best storytelling methods to employ. After creating comprehensive content outlines, I wrote the draft text for all displays and sourced the imagery.
